Main Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute the annual internal audit plan in accordance with international standards and local regulatory requirements.
• Evaluate the effectiveness and relevance of internal control and risk management systems.
• Conduct operational, financial, and compliance audits to identify and mitigate potential risks.
• Provide clear and relevant recommendations to various departments to improve internal processes.
• Ensure effective follow-up on the implementation of recommendations from internal and external audits.
• Regularly prepare and present audit reports to the audit committee and senior management.

Desired Profile:

• University degree (Bachelor/Master) in Audit, Accounting, Finance, Management, or related disciplines.
• Minimum of 5 years professional experience in a similar role within a banking or financial institution.
• Strong knowledge of international internal audit standards (IIA) and regulations from the Central Bank of Congo (BCC).
• Critical analytical skills, rigor, impartiality, and integrity.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Fluent in French required; knowledge of English is desirable.
