Solidaire Banque is a fast-growing financial institution in the Democratic Republic of Congo, providing a wide range of financial services to individuals and businesses. To strengthen our digital payment solutions, we are recruiting a Payment Systems Manager (Responsable Monétique) to oversee our electronic payment infrastructure and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

As the Payment Systems Manager, your main responsibilities will be:

  • Overseeing payment solutions, including card issuance and acquiring, ATM networks, POS terminals, and e-commerce platforms.
  • Managing the technical and operational aspects of Visa, Mastercard, and mobile money payment systems.
  • Supervising the installation, maintenance, and optimization of ATMs, POS terminals, and the payment switch.
  • Ensuring compliance with Central Bank of Congo (BCC) regulations and international standards.
  • Monitoring and analyzing transactions to detect fraud and enhance payment security.
  • Developing and improving payment service offerings to increase customer adoption and satisfaction.
  • Managing relationships with key partners, including Visa, Mastercard, CSC, and payment processors.
  • Collaborating with IT and Security teams to optimize efficiency and system protection.
  • Preparing performance reports and dashboards for senior management.

Profile & Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Finance, Banking, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in payment systems and electronic banking, preferably in a banking environment.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Strong knowledge of payment protocols (ISO 8583, EMV, QR Code).
    • Experience with payment platforms and transaction processing.
    • Deep understanding of Visa and Mastercard networks.
    • Solid knowledge of local and international payment regulations.
  • Personal Skills:
    • Leadership and decision-making abilities.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
    • Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
